Alphie: Good little book for the price. I wish it had a few more songs from alladin but it still has most of the major Disney songs. It has a good difficulty level. I do not play to compete, I play as a hobby and it a good level for the number of years I've been playing

Dr. PaulDr. Paul: After far too long a break from playing, my wife and I were recently able to get her an electric piano so she could once again play. She has been away from it for a few decades, so needing something she could at once play, enjoy for the music, and get back into the swing of playing, we found this Contemporary Disney: 50 Favorite Songs (Piano-vocal-guitar) along with a book on classical music. Each offering their own rewards. Now, she played in through high school and into college but as life does, dropped away, so she is an adult coming back to things. She had found this Contemporary Disney: 50 Favorite Songs (Piano-vocal-guitar) to be well done and allows her to already come up to speed on much of the music here. While she continues to get her feet under her, she is finding music here to practice and help. The fact that it’s Disney music makes it all the more fun - we are both Disney fans.
In the end, she’s still getting things back up and going, but already finding this Contemporary Disney: 50 Favorite Songs (Piano-vocal-guitar) to be a joy. She is happy to recommend it.

Bücherwurm2011: Ich habe nach den bekannten Songs aus den frühen Disenyfilmen gesucht, da meine 3 jährige Tochter gerne singt und gerade sehr an den König der Löwen Songs interessiert ist.
Die Klavierstimme doppelt meist die Gesangsmelodie, was ich leider in den allermeisten Songbooks finde.
Schön wäre auch eine reine Begleitstimme.
So ist es aber eine tolle Grundlage für das gemeinsame Erlernen der Songs.
Also genau das, wonach ich gesucht habe.
Da die Akkorde (auch mit Gitarren-Griffbildern) notiert sind, bietet sich eine eigene Interpretation, bzw. Begleitung ebenfalls an.

Carissa Renard: My mom is a professional pianist and has been playing for over 50+ years. She had a Disney fake book but her old hardcover edition of Disney songs from the 1990’s broke a long time ago so I got her this one. She’s glad it has the real score in it and not just chords. The songs in this book are definitely not for beginners so if you have someone who really knows how to play piano in your life I’d recommend getting this.
Oh and I also bought the spiral bound version for a few bucks extra so it lays flat while playing.

Riva: Brilliant teaching piece, equally awesome if you want to play for pleasure.
I was delighted when this turned up, arrived next day courtesy on Amazon Prime . Brilliant purchase with a cracking selection.
I bought a secondhand piano to get my boyfriend back into music (he's amazing but has been suffering with depression recently due to work and I thought this would help him do something positive) and also so that I could learn myself as a total newbie.
You have to have a basic understanding of how to read music, or in my case right the keys/bar in pencil eg FACE and EGBDF and have those note stickers on the corresponding keys on the piano (I wasn't joking about the beginner part)
The book is amazing and comprehensive, but some are harder than others;
eg Beauty and Beast = fairly easy vs You'll Be In My Heart =more tricky but equally rewarding.
We played Beauty and the Beast together and its making me tearful thinking about it, it was so lovely to see him engaging in something.
If you could see our book, there is a marked improvement and I no longer write in pencil all the notes.
