G. Petersen: Very nicely made, easy to work with and work as they should. Tip: Tin the ends of your wires prior to inserting into the switch for better contact and fit.

Andre Silvanovich: We have several Ikea LED lights. After several years of use, the LEDs begin to flicker due to dirty contacts in the inline switch. The inline switches are glued shut, so contact cleaning ruins the switch. These switches purchased from Amazon are a perfect replacement. Thank you for selling this great product.

Dreamsource: Like: Looks Good, Functions well after install. Dislike: Instructions are lacking. Doesn't work easily with larger lamp cords. Would be nice: If this came in Brown as well as Black and White. Many lamp cords are brown.
Overall a decent switch for the price and much less expensive than big box stores.
Suggestion: Make sure to strip plenty of insulation so conductor goes all the way through the terminal to ensure a good tight connection.

Michael Walls: Once you figure out the wires slip easily into slots under the tightening screw, hooking up the AC is a breeze. Getting the cover back on has yet to be accomplished. Four TINY!! little screws secure the cover on after you connect the wires.

Too much resistance for jeweler's screwdrivers, and the Philips heads way too small for regular screwdrivers.
If I figure out the secret, I'll post an update.

I gave it a ★★ because the first part is easy - I'm holding off on the others until I see results on closing the casing.

I BELIEVE i FOUND THE PROBLEM - the opening for the wire to pass through [top and bottom]. Only very thin AC cords will close the fixture completely.

THE VERDICT: make sure you plan to use on a very thin gauge wire. Most AC cords use 16-14 gauge wire [the smaller the number, the fatter the wire], I may have the larger 14 gauge and this maxes out at 16 gauge. I got it to work, but there's a gap around the fixture.

Caution: "14-gauge are used for light fixtures, lamps, lighting circuits with 15 amps."
