Melissa Christensen: Only have one window in my tiny apartment that could accommodate a portable AC unit. Unfortunately other furniture has to go under the window, but with a longer hose to use as an extension and this little number, I can have my AC unit and furniture, too! Make sure your hose is 5 inches or it won’t work. It’s universally compatible with all 5 inch hoses, but AC manufacturers don’t universally use the same size hose. People with hoses of larger diameter will be disappointed, so grab a ruler and save yourself the frustration.
