My happiness soon faded. When I set it on top of the stove I thought something was dreadfully wrong. It worked as expected, but it wouldn’t even blow out a match in front of it. In fact, the fan didn’t even wiggle the flame. I tried it in front on the side all over the top of the stove and it didn’t matter. It didn’t work at all. The blade was turning fast as I had expected but no airflow I immediately got a return label from Amazon and bought a new $200 beauty you be the judge by this and then buy a $200 one. They’re easy to return.

The unit was delivered on time and in good condition. It looks well made, and the bi-metal temperature control is a good feature. It is very quiet and begins to turn at low temperature.
The unit is rated at 380 cfm, which should almost blow the hat off your head, but the actual air movement is almost undetectable. A tissue held two feet away barely moves. I've seen units made by Caframo rated at 125 cfm blow more than twice the air that this one does. Of course, you'll pay more than twice the price but it's likely worth it. I may return this unit.

I was skeptical about this because of value. Very pleased with how it works. Not going to blow any hair around but it moves air and requires 0 upkeep. Even has over temperature protection for the occasional wood heater getting too warm.

These are nice little fans. They are not real powerful and do not move a lot of air but do help spread the heat well. I have been running mine for 5 months non stop to put them through harsh use and they are performing as they did when I first put them up. If you rely on spreading heat from your stove these are not a fix all but come in handy if the power goes out. I use a wood stove for heat and need to move the air away from it to heat the other rooms and these are not up to the task but I am glad to have them when the power goes out.
