longliveanalog: i never knew that sunbeam made batteries. I searched online for "best aa battery" and this actually popped up in some of the write ups. I'd figure i would try. even if it were mediocre, for the price, it would be just fine and fair for an avg battery. i was surprised to see that it competes against the duracells and engergizers of the world...and for a lot less. i'm glad i took the risk on these batteries. this will be my go to for the future.

What's great about them?
1. They are long lasting. I've used some that were over six years old and they were still good.
2. The price. At 27-cents a battery, they are a bargain when compared to the name brands.
3. I've never had any of them leak on me.
Anything that could be improved?
1. The box I received had a "Best By Date" of 9/27. Which is only four years away. I would have preferred a "Best By Date" of 9/30 — which is seven years out. 😎

I used to buy Sunbeam batteries at my local dollar store. But they recently stopped stocking them. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find them here on Amazon. While there are lower-priced alkaline batteries available on Amazon, I have yet to find one that can top the Sunbeam brand. They are by far the best "bang for the buck" battery you can buy.
