Jamz: You are not going to believe this. Although the sketchbook is for chalk because of their rough texture, you can also use wet mediums. I mean watercolor, markers, watercolor pencils, watercolor pens, acrylic, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry, and ink pens. Of course, I don't have all the wet mediums but wet-on-wet? Com'on. No ghosting and no bleeding. The only pen that bled was the Sharpie permanent marker, the thick and all-around use, and their professional artist Sharpie pen which I bought from the store. The paper warps a little, but not as much as some 140 pounders do. I'm going to cut the paper and make a travel pad, 5" x 8 1/4". Less weight to carry around, and it also fits in my leather notebook.

JenJen: This is a great art set! It includes everything you need to start drawing and at a great price. There were 2 sketchbooks included, I’m not sure how many pages in each but there is a lot. They are both thick pads with nice thick paper. The case the drawing supplies comes in is a durable heavy duty material with a zipper closure so nothing can fall out if you don’t put them back in their place. Inside there are several pencils and colored pencils. There are also 2 different sized packages of graphite sticks (3 in each package). There are pencil sharpeners in different sizes so that you can sharpen all the different sizes drawing utensils. There is also a nice eraser, it isn’t the standard pink eraser, it’s a high quilts artist eraser that is Moldavia. I would definitely recommend this art set to any artistic leveled person. From beginner to advance, this kit is made with quality and is very easy to use.
