Michael Lynskey: This unit replaces a plastic one that had broken, so I am delighted that it is made of cast aluminum. It does not use screw-in bulbs, but has it's own LED brightness units that are adjustable. One single bracket installs onto the screw holes in all electric light housing, with a single screw hole in the middle for the light mounting screw. It is a snap to replace. It also has individual settings for movement sensitivity and light duration.

JJ: I purchased three of these motion activated LED flood light sets about 5-6 months ago. Though they were relatively easy to install as a replacement for existing halogen flood lights one of the three LED sets has already failed after just 5-6 months of use.

That's a 33% failure rate and can the other two sets be that far behind?

Despite claiming a 3-year warranty on the box I have no way of contacting the seller -- hopefully they see this and reach out to me. If they do, I will post an update. I had wanted to order two more to replace two additional flood lights on out house but now that is on hold.

An Update -- Seller has reached out and offered a replacement. This is a good sign ... will continue to amend review once replacement is received. The other light sets I purchased still are working well; so far so good.

jway288: Could have spent more money on something nicer but this fit my price point for the project. Everything about it feels very cheap but the cost was low so I guess you do get what you pay for. Works very well, just don't have a lot of faith it will hold up.

Don Miner: These lights are immensely bright. Much brighter than the regular halogen style floodlight I had there. Only complaint is that there isn't a whole lot of room to tuck your wires behind the plate when mounting. Its a little tricky to get your wires tucked in so the waterproof seal is sealed to your mount good. But, with a little maneuvering it can be done, just takes some a little patience. Other than that, they work great and did I say they were bright?? First comment i got on them was how bright they were. Definitely recommend

Michael C. Keller: The mounting bracket and machine screw are poor quality making the unit easy to cross-thread or bend during install. Owner/installer might be better off using other products to mount the fixture. The light itself is operating perfectly...I bought one as a trial, then a 2nd and now am waiting on my 3rd one as my experience with the product continues to be good.
