FollieFollie: It was packaged very well and looked sterile, which I was worried about. It came with some alcohol wipes, but I recommend buying a box of alcohol prep pads (at least 70% alcohol). I used more than they provided and you will need more for aftercare.
I pierced my cartilage, one new hole in my lobe, and repierced 2 other holes that had closed up.
The cartilage actually took 3 tries and I finally had to finish it by hand. After the first attempt, the back and the earring didn’t line up. So while it’s definitely possible, I don’t necessarily recommend using it in your cartilage, just because it’s a tougher area to pierce.
The new hole in my lobe and the repiercing of my other holes was easy and went perfectly on the first attempt. It was easy to line up the earring with where I wanted it.
I actually found going slowly was easiest, allowing the gun to move the earring through the skin instead of forcing it through quickly.
Everything looks great and I’m really happy with the results.

Shelby DelatorreShelby Delatorre: First of all let me tell you this. I had 6 piercings in each of my ears as a teenager, I got them all done at Clair’s. I retired them all except my bottom lobe because I didn’t enjoy them anymore and needed to look professional for work. Fast forward to be a 26 year old adult. I decided I want to have my cartilage re-pierced…. So I bought this kit. I also have bad allergies to earrings too, the only earrings I can seem to use in my ears are the ones that you get when your ears are pierced. I used the gun to get the 1 set of earrings out to put in my already pierced bottom lobe holes, then I pierced my cartilage, the earrings are great but the gun on both ears got stuck and was so painful to get off!!!!! Not a good gun and not a good experience!!!!
