KY GalKY Gal: This comes with no installation instructions, but after you trim it to size, peel off the plastic film and then spray the adhesive side of the vinyl and the back of the fish tank with plenty of soapy water. Then the vinyl will easily cling to the glass and allow you to adjust it. Use a squeegee or plastic spatula to push out the bubbles, working from center to edges. Looks great on our fish tank - love it!!

Kiana AnderbergKiana Anderberg: So let me just say, I do love this background. It’s bright and beautiful and it adds that little extra something for my tank. Now, it is definitely going to be easier to install this on a tank that is not set up yet, as you can lay the tank down and then apply the background easily. But, for a tank that is already set up, (has water, fish, etc.) the first thing you want to do is make sure Al cords are away from the back of the tank and you have full access to the glass. Then you are going to want to spray the glass with water. This will help you move the background around if it doesn’t sit where you want it the first time. If you don’t spray with water, wherever you put it, that’s where it stays, and there will be air bubbles that are going to be impossible to remove. If you try to remove it after you stick it on, the sticky stuff will stick to your tank and you’re going to have to goo gone it off. But if you spray with water, you can easily move it around AND it’s easier to get air bubbles out. Because I made the mistake I just mentioned, I do have some air bubbles.
