Steve R: Arrived in excellent condition, oil provided no issues thus far. Will update after I've had some time to test durability and reliability.
Update: after regular long duration uses, this generator is great. First pull starts, consistent output and seems to be As reliable as any other out there. The only drawback is it has no DC out for direct battery charging.
The noise level is very low. A push lawnmower is a bit louder.
The only drawback I found was when doing oil changes, the bottom frame rail is too wide and the oil will become a mess if you don't have the drain pan setup correctly.

jetfoot: Purchased this generator (WGen3600DF) and received it just in time for hurricane Idalia. Naturally, because I had it, we never lost power because she moved further out into the Gulf and we're about 10 miles inland from the Florida west coast. (No tidal surge here.) Got the generator primarily for the electric start feature (works like a charm), lighter weight and maneuverability, and well thought out engineering design. The funnel provided to service the oil is threaded to screw into the port! What a great idea and super convenient. Its smaller size is plenty for our needs to power a refrigerator, a couple of freezers, and a small portable a/c unit. Very nice!

Anthony J. O'krongly: I have a 16x40' Cabin. I bought this as a backup unit for power outages. I'm currently on hour 20 of continuous running off a propane tank (30 lb). I have it running a window AC (Inverter type which has less surge watts, mine is a Midea 10,000 U-Shaped Unit), a full size refrigerator, a small chest freezer, All my lights (LED) and two ceiling fans, plus electronics ***NOTE ON ELECTRONICS***.

**Electronics** - This has very distorted harmonics on the power, so you should put a "Line Interactive" UPS battery backup (I got an APC 750 for $140 on Amazon) between this unit an any sensitive electronics (like Internet router and TV). There are generators that produce a cleaner sinewave. You CAN run electronics directly off of it, but you might fry something which would negate the affordable price of this generator. You need a "line interactive" UPS not just a "backup" UPS.

This unit can surge a bit and every once in a while (when my refrigerator kicks on) my lights might flicker or go out for a beat... this is why I have a "line interactive" UPS on my router and TV.

It has OK fuel efficiency... not the best, just OK. It's quieter than my last Generac portable...

Amazon Customer: Bought this generator to use when boondocking with our 35 foot 5th wheel. Its dual fuel so I don't have to carry or purchase gasoline since I am running a diesel truck this is a great help. We always have propane available and I have it step up to run right out of the back of my truck. This generator makes things easy with remote start, fuel choice and the way its is built.

c05772: The product is really well designed, you have dual fuel gas and propane (very important, when the power is down in your town or neighborhood, you won't be able to fill you gas can, but you can still buy a filled propane tank). Switching from one supply to another is very easy. You also have a remote starter, convenient during the Canadian winter (it will not work for the initial start, but you can stop it for one hour or two and start again without going out again).
Now do not follow the manual for the initial set-up, it is easy but the battery has to be connected BEFORE you attach the wheel, not after. Moreover the generator is delivered with a quart of engine oil 10W30, it is OK for California, but for Canada what you really need is a quart of 5W30.
The main problem is not with the generator but with the responsiveness of the customer service, if you need a part you can get a case number but you won't get any farther, I got the email message:

'Thank you for contacting Westinghouse Portable Power Customer Support.

A member of our Team will respond to your case as soon as possible.'

and then no member of the team ever contacted me. It is probably link to...
