Le C.: I've only used the gray mitten, and one time, so far and it worked! I read the instructions, wetted the mitten and didn't use any soap on it, and after a not too long time of scrubbing in an area, I saw the dead skin ball up, it was kinda yuck. Some areas took a little longer scrubbing to see results and other areas didn't have any dead skin - it mostly showed on my arms and some on my legs, so you may want to try different areas if you're not seeing results or scrub a little longer. It wasn't painful and although the fabric seems thin when dry, it is sturdy when it's wet.

DL Reed: First, the elastic cuff is too tight, it should have a velcro open/close. If you can get your hand through into the glove, the length of the glove is only about 7". So, if you have anything but petite hands, look for another product. On the positive side, IF you get your hand past the elastic and your fingers are short enough to fit comfortably inside... the material does a good job, even the soft one.
