perry: I bought this for my mother that needed extra support when she walks. It's very nice, good quality and you can disassemble it if you want to travel or take it with you in a car.

KenH: All in all I'm very satisfied. The stick is well made, the screw connectors strong and easy to use. Not particularly fond of the deep gloss polyurethane coating, but that's OK. Would have been nice if the knob top had been detachable.
I bought this 3-piece walking stick to re-make into a Brighton Shepherd's Crook walking stick for my partner. I've sanded it down somewhat thinner, and removed the top knob. I'm making my own Brighton Crook (a specific British regional Crook shape) from Hard Maple, and plan on an ebonizing fish for the stick and leaving the crook natural. Instead of polyurethane I will finishing it with 3-4 coats of Tung oil for a matte/satin glow.

Robin Ferruggia: This walking stick is pretty and has a compass attached to it. I got it because I pulled a muscle in my leg so it helps with walking uphill, to take weight off my leg while it is healing. It's mostly pretty sturdy but it comes in three pieces so it helps to check and make sure they're all screwed in ok from time to time. It's lightweight and easy to carry. I'm satisfied enough with it. I only need it for a short period of time. Someone who needs one for a long time might consider getting something that is one-piece instead.
