Robin Menendez: Can be a little complicated to use but much better than having litter just collected in a regular container. My only issue is we have had a few that have misfed; it is like when a box of tissues are not feeding right, you can't get them going again and I get some waste.

Crabapple: This is thin and very fragile. I have yet to get a bag of litter out of the receptacle and into the trash bin without a tear, despite carrying it to the trash bin with the same caution I would have with holding a live bomb. I now keep a trash bag right beside the receptacle because I know it will tear before I shut the receptacle. The bag consistency is just a bit thicker than those plastic bags you get at grocery stores for produce.

This is very expensive for what you get. Once I finish these, I don't think I will be replacing them.

Alan: This was a great purchase. We have one cat, and we use clumping litter for her. We would remove the soiled litter twice each day (or sometimes more) and put it into a plastic grocery store bag that we'd store in a trash can near the box. The odors would still escape the bag even though we'd twist it shut. This simple device is easy to use and really keeps the odors at bay. You step on the foot pedal, which opens the top, then using the included scoop you push down on the spring-hinged lid and drop the waste inside. The lid springs back into place, the cover goes down and you are two complete layers removed from the odor. The bags work great and are easy to change ... once you've filled it (with one cat that takes more than a week) you simply pull it out, cut the top and tie it up. The bags are in a continuous tube, so you tie off the bottom of the new section, pull it down, and start using it. When that one is full, you just cut the top, tie off a new bottom, and so on. The bags are biodegradable, which makes them a lot more ecofriendly than using the grocery store bags, too.

Trillium: I read lots of reviews before buying the Litter Champ but you still can't be sure you're getting a quality product. We were pleasantly surprised in this case. The Champ is in a fairly busy part of our house and in combination with these bags, there is no smell and the gross stuff is tucked away. The bag(s) last(s) a long time and is really easy to install and replace - will buy again.
