mcp: I got these pens not for art but to mark dots on a dark background habit tracker. These are pretty good as they do show up quite vibrantly against the dark background. However, I have noticed that I need to go over the strokes one or two times because it does not usually go on as a completely solid line. Certainly the ink seems to be quite watery, but it doesn't run as long as I don't accidentally brush it before it dries. The casing for the pens seems pretty sturdy.
