A. McBride: We've been using the VEVA pre-filters and True HEPA filters for years now. They've been outstanding quality (especially since they're true HEPA, not HEPA style), with the pre-filters being thicker and more substantial than the official big-name brand ones by far - about twice as thick (don't worry, they still fit into the slots, you just have to tuck them in a bit more). This means they're doing a much better job of trapping particles, which is a necessity for us. The downside to this set is that the pre-filters do need to be cut to the right size for your unit, as they're made to be able to fit a number of styles/sizes. It's a very small inconvenience that we gladly deal with to get this quality of item at this price. I don't see us switching brands any time soon.
