Amazon Customer: Decent deadblow. Don't expect it to last very long before the rubber on the head starts to rip away. Mine lasted about four months.

kelly o'sullivan: bought the first one and the plastic on the end of the hammer broke off, but where I live it gets very cold, so thought that having it out all day maybe made it brittle, so bought another one and only brought it out when needed , it still broke. maybe there designed for the desert. the good news is my job is finished so don't need it anymore.

D. Dodge: Delivered on time but the box barely contained the 4 lb hammer. I have used the Dead Blow Hammer for several days on heavy landscape stone and it has held up. I'm using a piece of wood as a buffer between the hammer and the stone because the stone has a rough face and I generally like to take care of my new tools. Hammer is working and holding up so far and I am satisfied with the hammer at this point.
