CurryCurry: I am a novice at sewing things. I watched a few videos. I know enough to fix small holes in my daily clothes and figured it can't be too hard to try embroidery.
It came with embroidery floss numbered and labeled for ease of use.
A pair of scissors which are surprisingly sharp.
The hoop which I had some trouble with not tightening.

A couple of embroidery needles.
The paper instructions that came with the kit was confusing. However, I understood the limitations of paper instructions. I opted to watching a couple of YouTube videos to help me along. Mainly, on how to sew a certain way.
I belive the missing crucial information for beginners doing embroidery is the instruction mentioning how many strands to use. The instructions say 3 or 6 strands on the paper but for someone that just starting off fresh. They wouldn't know they need to take the embroidery floss apart and separate them into strands.
I've attached two photos.
