Angelo montez: I like the design and ease of dropping and folding up. It with also hold your kayak in place pretty well. I used it at a lake with some medium wind and worked perfect. Really a good anchor for my use.

Hoefje: This is a great anchor for kayakers! It’s lightweight, comes with plenty of rope and a nice clip to clip it to your kayak. It even has a float ball and a nice bag to store it in.
But the best feature is that the rope cuts easily away when you put the anchor down in the Haulover Canal on Florida’s Space Coast and cannot for the life of you get it up because the anchor does what it does best…. anchor in place!
The float and clip were saved for future uses, and I ordered another one because I do really like the quality of it. I just need to be smarter about where I anchor in the future!

Amazon Customer: The product came well packaged. High quality anchor. The Rope was plenty long enough. The white float was beneficial. The metal clip, although of good quality and was attached to the rope well was not big enough to clip closed thru the bow or stern hole of either kayak we have. It did not appear to cause a problem for use, but could potentially break the kayak’s lip and would not be repairable. A larger clip would fix this concern and you could purchase a separate clip and attach it yourself.
I would recommend the anchor, but replacing the clip.
