3.5 Cu. Ft. Chest Freezer for Home Storage

MIKE BENNETT: Purchases this small freezer at the beginning of the pandemic as I expected to make fewer trips being made to the grocery store. I received it a day earlier than promises. I let it sit for 24 hours before plugging it in as recommended. It has ran 24 hours a day since with the exception of one period of about 20 hours when I lost power due to a wind storm. It kept everything frozen an I didn't have any spoilage of my food. Great purchase for the small things I didn't want to put in my refrigerators freezer. It sits in my garage and has been proven to be a good investment and value for the money I spent.

ralphie: This was my second attempt to purchase a freezer. From a different seller, the freezer never arrived. (due to shipping problems). From this seller, it arrived within the time frame indicated by the seller. It arrived in perfect condition. It was well packaged, no dents, scratches, etc. I followed the instructions - before plugging it in, I allowed it to rest in its new environment for a minimum of 4 hours (I let mine set overnight). I then plugged it in. I put a bottle of water in it to determine its freezing - it was frozen on the almost highest setting within 3 hours. I gradually transferred food into the freezer from my other freezer. THIS FREEZER HOLDS MORE THAN YOU THINK IT WILL - I emptied 3 shelves on my side by side refridg into this freezer and I still have room to add more food. I have had it a week, no problems whatsoever. I have also turned it down to just a tad higher than the middle setting - it is still freezing well. It does have the usual "hum" of a freezer, but that is to be expected. It also quietly "gurgles" but that is explained in the instructions as the coolant travels through the coils. I am very happy with my purchase so far. If problems occur, I will...

Donna McCarron: I had been looking for a small apartment size freezer. Home Depot, Lowes had tiny freezers and Best buy did not have any. It was difficult to buy from theses stores unless you lived a certain distance. I saw this 3.5 cu which is a perfect size. 3 cu was too small and 5cu was too big. The package came when promised. Delivered to the front door and easy to slide box to the kitchen. The way the freezer was packed and he packaging appears to be designed for easy removal with a pre-cut bottom. It's as quiet as advertised. Once one the freeze got cold really quickly.

LJ: There is not anything we do not like about it so far. The delivery date was spot on! (thank you) There are just 2 of us and it's a perfect size for us.
Things like over packaging and stupid packaging just bug me to no end! Well not with this. My husband and I were like, now we have dump this OUT of the box and then stand it back up? Just as he tipped it a little bit, the side of the box came off from the bottom, easy peezie!
We are slowly putting items in there and it is working like a charm -
