3,000 Non-GMO Japanese Daikon Radish Seeds by MySeeds.Co

Ning Li: I got it but I don't think it came with 3000 seeds, just a small packet. Fortunately, some of the seeds I cultivated according to the instructions sprouted, and I planted them in the soil. As of today, I see them all sprouting out of the soil, expecting to grow a bunch of big radishes.

KeithKeith: Based on the size of the seeds and size of the package it appeared to me to be less than 3000 seeds. So I did an experiment. I carefully counted out 100 seeds, weighed them. Then I poured the whole packet on the scale. As you can see from the pictures I started with the scale zeroed with the container. Then I weighed 100 seeds which came out to 2g. Next I weighed the entire packet which came out to 47g. That Makes the packet 13g or about 650 seeds short of what’s advertised.

Snowbutch1: The seeds arrived quickly and look to be fresh whole seeds and nice and clean. I'll be planting some in my garden tomorrow and see how it goes. Radishes are usually super easy so expect them to do well. My only complaint is I don't think there's anywhere near 3000 seeds. I do alot of growing so have an idea what amouts of seeds typically look like so I'd be surprised if there were more than 500 to 1000 which is disappointing. Radishes aren't something I"ve ever really been able to collect seed from or I wouldn't mind so much....They are larger seeds than an average radish so makes it easier to guess at how many. If they'll grow and produce it will be an all right deal but not early what they said.....
