2lb Bag of Large, Premium, Unsalted, Raw Brazil Nuts - No Preservatives or Oils Added

Daunzilla: This is just a big bag of raw brazil nuts! I have been eating 3-5 per day for the selenium and magnesium. Since the bag is so large, I took a small baggie of them out of the package and froze the package so they don't go bad before I can eat them all. I thought it was a good value for the size.

The Kelli Girl in KC: These Brazil nuts are a very good price, and our tasty when they are fresh, but the packaging needs improvement. The first package we ordered was "damaged during shipping" and returned before we even saw it. The second package was great, but the third package which we are currently on has something wrong with the zipper seal at the top. We didn't realize it was not sealing and after a few days the nuts started to spoil and take an off flavor. We've put them into a tight jar and have continued eating them but I am hoping the fourth package which is on its way has a better seal at the top. I do recommend this product because of its good pricing, but be sure you check for a good airtight closure if you're storing it in the original packaging.

Laura C.: We purchased these Brazil nuts for their nutritional value. Brazil nuts are a good source of selenium. It is advisable you not consume a lot. We eat 1 per day even though they are quite tasty. The package we received was very fresh. Because of the length of time we are consuming we keep them in the freezer. We take out a few, store in ziplock bags and refrigerate. This product is very good quality nuts. We felt like they were a good value as well for quality and quantity.

D. BrutonD. Bruton: I eat 3 of these everyday to get in my daily selenium - 600mcg/day. Each Brazil nut has about 200mcg. Selenium may help with inflammation, and nuts are on the Mediterranean eating plan I’m following. I usually eat a few cashews and sprouted walnuts, too.

Some nuts are better than others. I was buying a little plastic tub of Brazil nuts from Walmart but they started tasting bad. So far, these are good! I usually buy roasted and lightly salted mixed nuts or cashews but with these, you don’t need the salt and they are good raw. I’ve heard they can taste a little burnt if they are roasted.

I like how easy this 2 lb. Bag opens and closes. I hate when a zipper bag is hard to close.

This bag says best by 10/2024 and I ordered in 08/2023. It has about 2 months worth if you eat 3 a day which is one serving. In one serving, you are getting a little iron (1.6mg), 2g protein, 2g carbohydrates and 9g fat but only 2 grams of fat are saturated. 90 calories, no sugar, no fiber. I’m a fan!
