pattig: Opened it up and tried one and was happy to find they were fresh and very crunchy. I have bought other brands that were stale and no flavor. These are perfect!

Jill C. Eilenberger: If you can find these sold in bulk in a nearby store you will find they are fresher and tastier.

hgdffrtgyusdoifu: As far as I know, every Brazil nut on the market today is wild-crafted. That is a plus for every brand of nut, not merely one over another brand.
You want wild food with great nutrition and a reasonable price? Order these nuts.

Shanee Campbell: Like many other reviewers, I purchased these because of a thyroid issue. I have a particularly aggressive form of Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Along with limiting gluten in my diet, taking B12 and D3, my doctor suggested I could use a boost in my selenium intake to mitigate my ever-increasing number of thyroid antibodies. The best way to take selenium is in a natural form. I haven't had a check up yet since buying these, but the taste alone has sold me on the product. Very fresh. I followed package instructions to refrigerate and so far, so good. I eat 2 to 3 a day based on recommended intake and the size of each nut. It makes the price worth it, especially compared to the price of supplements (which don't provide the best version of Se anyways). Not much to say about the packaging--easy to open, and mine came in an Amazon envelope so that was fine. They also showed up 4 days ahead of estimate, so that was nice. Give them a shot!

Ana MariaAna Maria: NOW Foods is my go to brand when it comes to nuts and seeds, and these Brazil nuts were OK. Brazil nuts are full of healthy fats, selenium and magnesium, and although taste wise they are not my favorite nuts, they are a nutritional powerhouse.

Because they are raw and unsalted, they don't pack too much flavor. They make a tastier snack if I eat them along with something saltier or add my own salt. The flavor is there, but it's not rich; the macadamia nuts from NOW Foods are way more tasty and rich in flavor.
As all Brazil nuts, they have a slightly dry crunchiness, lacking the buttery texture and taste of high fat nuts.

The bag wasn't the freshest possible, but it's good quality for something ordered online and delivered via Amazon. I keep all my nuts in the freezer, keeps them at peak quality for longer.

The nuts vary from small to medium-large, 5 of them rarely equal 19g, so a scale is better for portion control.

While I love I can recycle the NOW Foods bags through Terracycle, the quality of the ziploc is bad. It's not sturdy, it separates easily from the bag, so I either transfer the nuts to another container or use a bag clip to seal it.

KAPIL D.: The nuts are stale, smells horrible and tastes pathetic. Very bad seller and amazon service in this case, when i complained no action was taken. Will need to throw in the dustbin. Total loss of time and money.
