Shabo: Have Been using it for my kitten since potty training. It was recommended by veterinary to use those as little ones can eat litter so it have to be safe if swallowed. Ended up using it for 2 years. Tried clay (popular brand) recently and was shocked how much dust clay does. Went back to this one. Good to know it’s 100% recycled product, eco friendly and doesn’t smell at all.
Also, for those with fluffy paws - nothing stucks between toes and fur. Was disappointed to see how wet clay stays between toe-beans and my fluffy baby was struggling cleaning it (not sure even if it’s safe)

Sandy: These pellets are pretty absorbent and have no chemicals added. No fragrance. I almost wish there was a bit of natural fragrance. My cat likes it lots. The odor is evident after a week, so it does need to be changed often.

jilly: I had previously always used scoopable litter. However, the kitten I adopted a year ago came from a foster home that used recycled newspaper pellets because it is better for the kitties who were spayed/neutered with less issues post op. My cat decided, unilaterally, that she’d only use recycled newspaper litter. She kicked out the scoopable litters I tried to introduce. Now I'm definitively glad!
There is no dust, which is great for allergy sufferers, & I would think also for anyway with breathing issues. I never found any truly dust-free scoopable litters.
Secondly, very little tracking. There are only ever a few pellets, & they’re contained to right in front of the litterbox.
Good odor control. I buy the unscented and have never had an issue with odor. This litter DOES need to be changed more frequently than scoopable litter, due to the fact that urine cannot be scooped out, only solid waste. With one cat, I change out to fresh litter every 5 days. This litter is fairly inexpensive so that helps.
I also like the fact it is biodegradable, & that it is a recycled product.
Awesome product that both my cat & I love.

mommy123: I got this litter because my cat tracks litter EVERYWHERE! I changed from clumping litter to non clumping litter, because the clumping litter was the worst. The non-clumping litter was just a little better. I got sick of walking on litter pieces. So I got this. There are some cons.
It doesn't contain the smell as well as scented litter.
You have to change it more often than scented litter.
That being said, the cons weren't worth taking off a star. The pros, for me, are great. There is very little tracking, and what does get tracked out doesn't get off the litter mat. The pieces are large enough that I can just just put them back in the litter box. I don't mind scooping out the poop twice a day, better than walking on nasty cat litter, constantly. The best part is- it is so much easier to change. Before, I had to vacuum up the litter, clean the box, vacuum up again, and then steam mop. It usually took over an hour. I still vacuum, but it only takes a few minutes. And the steam mop is more for hygiene. It has cut my cleaning time by 60 percent or more. Just get a lot of air fresheners for when you can't scoop it out right away.
