Nanette: I like that it's flat not round and hopefully will hold out good with the weather (heat cold and rain) Usually I only use it during the spring summer and bit of the fall when it's hot to keep our patio cooler then in winter put the covering away so the sun shines through to keep us a little warmer.

JMR: If you need a really long bungee, this item works well. However, it may not last more than a few years outside throughout all New England seasons, previous predecessors deteriorated over time. I bought these again to do the same job due to the overall length and value.
