Sue: It's great to have a large assortment of one color, especially greens, which are used quickly in most patterns, but a few of these refills have very watery ink. It takes 2 or 3 layers to get a good covering that isn't streaky, but the color darkens with every layer. Most are good with thicker ink. Sometimes, turning the pen the opposite way for a day or 2 will thicken the ink, but not always. Over all, I'd buy again to have the variety of colors.

Jeff's wife: I love, love these pens. I use mostly brown colors and you can’t find them in almost all of the other pen sets or refills. Or if you do find them there are only 4 out of 180 with only 1 of each color. I use way more then that as I color mostly animals. I also love that these browns aren’t just the metallic colors or where you can’t tell for sure if they are truly brown or purple depending on the light. These are definitely brown colors, and great, smooth, long lasting especially as much as I use them. My only issue is that I can get the pen set with refills much faster then I can just the plain refills..maybe it’s where I live?? I hate wasting the money on the extra pens I don’t need so I have to be on top of ordering before I run out. A week to get just refills and 2 days to get the pen set. I will still always buy these. Customer for life.
