L Olson: So, they're great to go in the wash, very thin, good size. You could probably put several in the washer at once and be fine. They do dry pretty quickly, once wet.
However, as far as actual absorbency goes, these leave much to be desired. They're really thin so they don't absorb much as a standard towel. They're about the same texture as a cheap towel, not super fluffy or anything but not sand papery.
If you've got in laws/ other guests you don't like, this would be really great for them.

domo: It was very thin and light towels, so much lints on my cloth when I open it. Wash it hoping the lints would come off but still the same. I would said these towels are not bad for the value and good for traveling since it’s light if you don’t mind the lints.

madamemusico: I bought both new towels and washcloths, both manufacturers recommended washing them before use. Let me tell you, they really had lots of fuzz with the first wash, an incredible amount that happily my filters on the wash machine and dryer both got, I mean the filters were totally FULL of fuzz from the towels and washcloths! I could not wash on a low setting--my washer only does a regular/high wash--and my dryer does not have a low setting either, but they came out of the dryer so soft and fluffy, really nice towels. I found no bleeding on the colors, and I separated the washing of them into 3 loads, one white, one light colored, and one dark. But you better make sure to wash them first, you won't believe the amount of fuzz on them you will get out of that first washing. Note: on the white wash, I only had one white washcloth and one white towel, so I put some white underwear and handkerchiefs in the load, and none of the fuzz from the towels stayed on those items, both the washer and dryer filters got all the fuzz in the white load.
