Tanya Bernleithner: Unit fit perfectly into old wood fireplace opening. It heats all of our basement so well! It used to be freezing and is now so comfortable. Be mindful if purchasing the faceplate because the bottom fits lower on the frame of the fireplace so you need to raise the fireplace in order for it to fit. If the unit can't fit completely inside the old opening then this isn't possible. Ours fits exactly without being able to put it further inside the opening so we have to modify the faceplate

Amazon Customer: This product replaced the fireplace for my entertainment center. Fits perfect and there was one that was 200.00 dollars less but the reviews were terrible, there may have been one good one. This one had all really good reviews and with the added warranty i will have 5 years warranty. As they say you get what you pay for. I love it!!!

Terry NormanTerry Norman: I purchased the 33" insert to fit into my existing wood burning fireplace. The existing fireplace was approximately 35" w by 28 1/2" h. With the insert alone, there was some gap around the edges which gave it an unappealing look. I purchased the frame kit for the unit and that made all the difference to the look. With the rock fireplace I was able to bring the electrical cord to the front through a gap in the rock and hide it with the existing fireplace tools. Since the insert was placed on the floor of the fireplace, I had to build a platform for the insert to sit on to raise it about 2 1/4 inches to allow the bottom of the frame kit to fit. The unit really looks nice now and it better than dealing with the smoke and hassle of building a wood fire. The heater worked great also. Previously I had a duraflame log insert that was nice but the heater really didn't heat up the room. With this one, I had to actually turn down the heat setting because the room was getting too hot.

My only complaint with the insert is the glass. I wish they would have used non-reflective glass. During the day with my picture window in the room, it is hard to see the...

Jim G.: I received the Classic Flame 23" 3D Infrared Quartz electric fireplace just after Thanksgiving 2018. I have been using it almost everyday since then (just over a month). The fireplace came complete with a remote and everything has worked flawlessly. No assembly required. I am in a motorhome and do not have it inserted into anything. I use it free standing. It has a handle on each side of the cabinet which is handy for moving it into different places in the coach. The base is flat (very important for my use) and stands easily and looks good. It puts out a decent amount of heat for its size and takes the chill out of the front of the motorhome. We have a Dyson heater for the back of the RV.

I like the different flame colors, flame heights, and the timer feature that will shut it off up to 8 hours after you set it. You can also stop the 3D flame and use the unit as a heater with virtually no effects (just a soft glow like embers burning). The safety heat sensor works well so if you get something too close to the heating output vent, the unit will shut down and show a digital error code on the display. Have not had the plug get hot, so I assume it works well...

Klm1990: Ordered the insert to warm up our living room, in chilly Calgary. Our old one had broken along time ago. The insert arrived damaged, even though the box was clearly labelled "Fragile". I call Amazon straight away - i was not impressed at over $500 to arrive broken was not a good initial impression.
Amazon reached our to the company on our behalf and from there I dealt with Brock! He was first class - provided us clear and concise instructions on how to receive the replacement and answered any questions we had right away. The replacement arrived this morning. We already have it plugged in and the heat coming off of it is amazing. Our once icebox main floor is now comfortable and the fireplace looks amazing as well. Even the pups approve!
