GC: Already having knowledge of roll up doors I replaced the original 207 X 1 3/4 x 21 springs with these as an upgrade, removal and installation was easy but will say for someone who isn't mechanically inclined have a professional install these for you, releasing and winding the springs can be a tricky and dangerous process, trying to save a few dollars isn't worth injuring yourself, you can find plenty of how to videos out there showing the complete process of repair.

Kindle Customer: Although I now have a PHD in garage door springs, it was worth the effort. Had no idea that there are so many different spring dimensions and types. And, these torsion springs cannot be bought at Lowes or HD. So I watched, several times, videos on how to find the correct springs and replacement procedures and bought these springs with confidence. Follow the careful instructions on how to safely replace them and they work great. This set is actually for one large garage door, but the individual springs are the exact size that I need for my two smaller doors (9'x7'). So, I used the left turn for the one door that had the broken spring and will keep the right turn for when the other door's spring breaks.
