Katja: Wir haben seit 1 Jahr 4 Stück, auf unserem Grundstück verteilt, im Einsatz. Alle 4 funktionieren bisher einwandfrei. Eine Lampe hängt sogar nicht direkt in der Sonne, und funktioniert trotzdem tadellos. Allerdings haben wir sie so eingestellt, dass sie nur bei Bewegung anspringen, also nicht vorher im Dimmermodus sind. Wir bestellen jetzt noch weitere 2 Stück.

M. Ivey: I put this on the side of my house next to the fence entry door so when people come over at night, they don't fall when trying to get to my back patio. It seemed to work perfectly at first, but then as we were sitting on my patio, the light kept going on like it was detecting movement. There is no way it could detect our movement as it was on the side of the house and closer to the front and we were on the back patio. I ended up having to shut it off completely so my neighbors wouldn't go crazy (its bright) and we could enjoy the fire in the back. I tried turning it back on one night I was not outside to see if it still turned on and off. Yes. No one was outside but it kept intermittently turning on. I again had to shut it off. I used the option of the sticker on the back to hang it. I wanted to move it to a different spot, but that sticker is on their so well that I can not remove it without ruining the siding of my house. So now it hangs, useless.

Syamal K Biswas: One of my purchased 6 wasn’t good. But others are working great. Few tips for you as the manual doesn’t clear you this part. There are 4 possibilities when you press the switch button. These are (in sequence of pressing the button):

1. On - dim always
2. On - dim and bright when movement
3. Off and bright when movement
4. Off - always (factory default)

A new Light will have factory setting i.e., Setting 4 (Off - always).

Hope this help when setting your light with you specific requirement.

Clayshaper: I received the order in less than 36 hrs. The lights are more than adequate for safety and utility.
This solar light sheds light to the sides as well as to the front . . . and is way too bright to look directly into.
It comes with double-sided mounting adhesive pad, or you can mount it with the supplied screws/anchors.

I've not had it long enough to assess it's battery life, but it powers the 200+ L.E.D.'s to a blinding brightness. The lithium-ion battery has a stated capacity of 2200mAh, which is close to the power of a cell phone . . . not a couple of 'standard' AAA output batteries as I've seen in many solar lights.

I'd purchase them again if I needed them, or even send them as a gift.
