Mark Bonn: If you’re like me and don’t know squat about cameras or photography, this book is for you. It covers everything I needed to know and was in a nice format that made learning this field very easy.

My only suggestion is that you buy the book, read it, and then purchase your camera of choice. Had I done this, I wouldn’t have purchased the camera I did, but one that fit my needs and interests more. However, this book has helped me get the results I wanted from my camera. Highly recommend!

Daniel Drlík: Easy to read book with many examples and tests. Covers only lightly the basics though so definately not suitable for semi or pro photographers.
I would recommend this book only for teenage photographers. Not for adults. Don't get me wrong, I like this book but its written and colored like for kids, teenagers audience. After I complete it I will definately resell it because I'm on page 45 and learnt only 2 new things.

venyer: Es un libro básico que cubre todos los aspectos del proceso fotográfico a un nivel de iniciación. Se trata de la edición en inglés. Utiliza un inglés bastante asequible. Se divide en 20 capítulos/semanas para ir trabajando cada uno de forma práctica.

Cada capítulo se estructura de la siguiente forma:
- Test your knowledge.
- Understand and Theory.
- Learn the skills.
- Practice and experiment.
- Asses your results.
- Enhance your images.
- Review your progress.

Las preguntas que va haciendo vienen con sus soluciones. Los ejercicios indican su dificultad, tiempo estimado de realización, donde realizarlo, etc. Vienen con muchas fotos e ilustraciones. Está muy bien maquetado y encuadernado en pasta dura.

Bastante bien para empezar o recordar conceptos si te manejas con el inglés. Recomendable.
