Tadalicious: It is NOT as good as tube black lights, I own both types. The light was okay, not bad, but not great either.
My bulb recently died after 2 yrs. Their Lighting facts say 7 yrs at 3 hrs per day is the average lifespan, but I'd say that's a generous estimate. I'll try a different one this time.

Robert Pierpont: bulb arrived fine & it works great, its nearly as powerful UV wise as my 24" blacklight tube style but with having similar wattages & cost this shouldn't be a huge surprise I suppose tho it does run quite a bit warmer than a 24" tube. I'm plenty happy with it, might buy another one. I would recommend. Also I have blacklight tubes & an LED blacklight bulb, what I don't like about the LED blacklights is they have too much 'ambient' light meaning they light up the space too much for my taste, they make things glow very well but the whole room is brighter than it is with CFL blacklights.

Shannalii: This light is awesome when it’s used indoors; however I live in Canada and as I review this item, it is mid-October. The high is around 10* Celsius and gets about -3 the lowest around this time. The light bulb does not work if I leave it outside. In order for it to work, I have to bring it inside after I turn my porch light off at night just so it can be warm enough to use for the next night.

Andofinde Meldo: This is the best non-tubular blacklight I've ever encountered. I have spent a long time trying to find a bulb that could compete with the tube blacklights of my highschool/college years, and until this bulb arrived I had my doubts that a true blacklight experience could be achieved without the tube technology. But this bulb definitely changed my mind! I don't know if it's true to say that it's bright, really, being black, but that which glows under its UV rays certainly shines like the sun. (Or I guess like an eerie, ghostly sun.)

The bulb fits a normal light bulb outlet, and though I built a lamp for it, I have used it in my desk lamp a lot. And boy do things glow! I bought some glow-in-the-dark paint to be paired with this blacklight, and after only a few moments in its dark embrace, the paint stays charged pretty much all night. Additionally, from the far wall of my bedroom, everything that is white or the least bit fluorescent is super duper bright, and I love it!

So far I haven't had any issues with the bulb in terms of fragility (or in any other regards, actually). I am in the midst of a move right now, however, so we will see how it fares by the end. Based on...

Fha E.: En general bien, llego en buen estado y cumple su función, ya que si hace brillar el color blanco, solo que le quito una estrella por que al mirar la luz parpadea un poco, no se nota en la habitación pero da el presentimiento que no durará tanto como promete. JayJay: I purchased 3 of these bulbs at $12/piece which is an amazing deal when comparison shopping. I've setup a basement RC Car track for my son's upcoming birthday party and thought it would add a really cool element of fun to be able to race in the dark. In the picture I've attached, I'm only using two of the bulbs, one at each end of the room, and it's more than enough to get everything glowing, with just enough ambient light to keep things safe. The picture is a little dark and doesn't offer a perfect representation of the brightness of the bulbs, but it gives a fairly good idea. The greens are extremely bright, the pinks and whites are also well lit, especially considering that I'm using hockey tape. Clothing and box labels that better reflect the UV glow extremely bright, much like the green tape. There is also some glow-in-the-dark gel on the wall which after a while with the UV lights on, glows very brightly.

I would highly recommend these bulbs. They work exactly as they should, are well made, use little energy, and are an excellent price.

Pros:
Will light up a decently big living room with no problems
Fluorescent colors will light up brilliantly
Very durable and will last a long time
The bulb is very light weight and it can be used anywhere (Lamps, ceilings, walls, ect)

Cons:
The bulb is pretty expensive for a CFL black light bulb
Spencers Canada sells a similar bulb (Less powerful) for around $14.99 CAD (I'd recommend you get two).

Overall:
Awesome bulb for parties, it will do a great job of making everything fluorescent look vivid. I highly recommend you smoke up the room because it makes everything look x10 cooler (E-cigs or vapes do the trick too). The bulb is quite expensive and you could get cheaper ones in store that are less powerful. The bulb will surely last a long time and longer than the cheaper alternatives.
