Joshua Reno: Bought this to switch out old shoe strings and a few pants string. Decent material and stretches but is very picky about holding a knot and will slowly shift under stress. I typically burn/melt the ends to prevent fraying and keep the cuts clean but all this does is burn and fall apart, it doesn't melt together and hold its shape.

Amazon Customer: I was making my own masks using bandanas and alligator clips and these as strings. The alligator clips snags my hair ouch! the the clamps are too weak string slides right through when pulled. The string was/is too strong. I would use a smaller gauge next time. But I did get them together and other people like them. I try to color coordinate them to my outfits. Some look better than others but all are better than the generic crapola the masses wear.

Heidi BHeidi B: I purchased this cord to use on my Hip Pack I use for mountain biking. I needed to attach my detachable chinbar to the pack for the climbs and I saw a buddy who had a system using this type of elastic cord. I purchased this particular one because it came with the stoppers/ends which I also needed for my project.

The cord itself is strong and has a nice amount of elasticity, exactly what I needed in my application. The single hole stoppers were strong and I was able to use them and fed both ends through one stopper without issue. The spring on the stopper was sufficient that I had to exert a fair amount of effort in pulling for the cord to start to slip off the stopper. Tying a knot in the end of the each string made it such that the string would not exit the stopper unless I depressed the button. The elastic nature of the cord is nice because you can cinch it down on the thing you are trying to hold and it will hold it tightly without the worry of it being overly tight or not tight enough.

The double hole stoppers, while sized correctly for the cord were not able to hold much tension at all. I suppose if you didn't need them to actually hold...
