Mid West Man: I bought the INETUB .030 wire and liked it so much that I bought the .035 also. I am a DIYer with no mig training ,shakey hands and poor eyes and this is the easiest wire to run that I have found!This wire is much more flexable than others I have used which I feel makes it feed much better on my cheap welder.

Amazon Customer: I bought the HF 170 welder 3 years ago ans modified it (can find the instructions on the web) to increase the penetration and thickness it can weld. I was using Lincoln wire from Lowe's for first year, as way better than the HF stuff. Lincoln welded great, but left a lot of splatter. Read the reviews and tried this after burned thru last roll of Lincoln.

When I bought this wire 2 years ago, I was near the end of my project (1/4 steel). Noticed an immediate improvement in the size and amount of splatter. Welds seemed about the same.

Didn't do a lot of welding till yesterday. Started another large roll around machine base (1/4 thick steel). Was still very impressed with thee wire. Starts well and just keeps going. Lots of smoke and tan deposits, but that is same with all flux wire. I weld from both sides and can't break any of the welds when done (tried to on a test piece). Maybe a little bit better at not leaving and holes in the weld than the Lincoln I was using, or maybe I am getting to be a better welder. Like it enough that I just ordered 3 more rolls.

The Goat: I had to go on a trip at included some welding repairs. We used this wire with a Harbor Freight bottom of the line welder, so I had many reservations. One comment I read regarding flux core wire is how other brands simply did not work well, and this has always been my experience. Poor penetration and poor fluidity when welding.

So after doing some searching for a better wire, I tried this from Inetub... Surprised as could be at the welder, the wire made it work like a champ. The wire was smooth to feed and it debunked all of my previous thoughts about shielded wire welding. Even with that welder which only has a 20% duty cycle, I was able to weld up to 1/4" with very good penetration. My challenge was a thin folded metal tube that was welded to 16ga steel....the end result was a really good weld that I would never have been able to achieve before. One pass and done.

So, absolutely without a doubt....wire is as important as wire speed, heat range, experience, and cleanliness of the surface. When I get back I will be ordering all new wire for my small mig welder at home and getting rid of all other wires as it impressed me that much.
