SHhhhhhSHhhhhh: I have been irritated for two years by having to get a stepladder every time I wanted to change fan speed or wanted light but not fan or vice versa. These are the perfect extenders. Easy to install. Fast shipping. I only wish I had found them when I first moved in.

Gail Apfel: I needed a chain extender for the ceiling fan in my kitchen. The original pull chains are white, and I needed white chains to match. These seem to be very difficult to find, but fortunately Amazon had them. They match the original to a "t." Very happy to have finally found the chains I wanted.

Andrew: I have a vaulted ceiling with a ceiling fan in the middle so I needed an extra long chain so I could reach the pull chain. The old one was gold and tired and I kept getting the light and fan mixed up, this is perfect. Also when pulling on the fan to set the fan speed, it helps having the extra width for easy pulling.
