Super simple to put under the sheets and just enough padding to keep him from rolling out. Only thing I would change is having a waterproof cover over the foam.

Sarah: When I unpackaged these I was skeptical because they were vacuum sealed in a bag the size of a football. But within minutes they were full size. I like how tall they are and I like the rubber backing on them so they don’t move around. They stop the child from rolling too far and don’t get squished down. Very soft.

SR: We recently transitioned our son from a crib to a "big boy bed" aka a queen sized bed. Our son is a mover in his sleep and our main concern was him falling out of bed. These fit great under his fitted sheets and have rubber grips that have kept them from moving even with our son snuggled right up to them most of the night. One thing to note, they recommend deep fitted sheets when using these which has kept the sheets from sliding up the sides of the mattress.

Jay: These bumpers are amazing - either on the outside of the bed to avoid falling onto the floor - or to fill in the gap between the wall and the bed for kids. We bought a second set for a family trip we went on and wanted to leave there for next year. They are substantial, so once they are unrolled, it's hard to roll them back up to the original size without some type of vacuum seal - but I was able to get them back into a small box for storage. They have a gripper on the bottom that helps it to stay onto the mattress and not slip around. Huge fan! I recommend them to anyone looking for a solution for their kids.

Amazon Customer: These bed bumpers are easy to travel with, easy to install (you just put them under the sheet or mattress protector), and easy to remove obviously, but I find even with the sticky bottom they still slide off. I am constantly readjusting them in my toddlers bed. Did I mention she is a toddler so she is going in and out of her bed, but I was expecting them to stay in place a little better. Again gets the job done and in my opinion way better than a railing and she has not fallen off the bed so they are working.

Chi-Ling Huang: I was worried after reading comments about smell and can't return to shape. After it arrived I washed the cover immediately and air both rails for 48 hours ++ to get rid of the smell. The strategy was successful, no more smell and shape was totally fine. If you're worrying too, don't be, just leave it outside for long and if you are still concerning, just wrap something outside the rail. Otherwise my baby love it, he likes to rest his tiny feet on it.

LilianaLiliana: The media could not be loaded.  So far upon opening I really like the product. Well packaged. Opened easily. No smell. Easy zipper to open and remove cover. Super soft quilted fabric and has 2 grip strips, all along the bottom and a thinner strip in the middle on top so the fitted shit stays on! So clever. It does grip well and stays in place. The foam is SO soft!! Feels sooo nice, but it is NOT a firm foam so if your child is heavy and/ or moves A LOT in their sleep they might still roll over it:/
I would have loved for the foam itself to have a thin cover not completely exposing it when you remove the washable cover but not a big deal- it does make it more difficult to put the covers back on because the foam sticks to the material... (loses a star)
Also does NOT have a CertiPur-Us tag on it, which I wonder why... although their brand Shinnwa IS listed on the CertiPur-Us website!
Tried on my daughters crib and the grip shifts on her mattress, but her mattress cover has a silky film feel to it and causes it to shift, but it does not move on my son's mattress! it stays put, and he stays put! Does take some effort to just ROLL off... you'd have to have your leg over...

Ana Kay: Great quality and such a great idea overall. Net superior to any of the inflatable versions. It's also got non-slippery strips to avoid it moving around or even falling off the bed. You can use it in your toddler's cot once you've decided to take the side/s of the cot off, and you can use it in a single, double, queen, etc bed on either side... safe and easy!
Totally recommend it!

Daniel M: Grippy base makes the bumpers stay in place relatively well, it fit in the cot (taking up the full length) and long enough to work on a full size bed.
It's a good idea to get a deeper fitted sheet for bumper to fit under it and still wrap around the mattress neatly.
