MelanieMelanie: I used this paint to do the trim of my cabinets. I loved it so much that I decided to paint my oven hood, my fridge handle, oven knobs, and every other possibility in my kitchen. The paint is smooth with excellent coverage. The color is lovely and very classy. It has not worn away at all, even on high-touch surfaces like the aforementioned knobs and handles. Highly recommend this paint!!

SE: I bought some moulding for a frame around a fossil tiled backsplash for a dry bar, which's has nickel hardware. I bring that up because a wood frame would have been too dark and silver would have been too polished a look.

I searched for iron metallic, but it came up too industrial, modern, and dark. I was shooting for an aged-looking frame, sans caulking, kind of a steam punk, old looking frame.

So, I painted two coats of Jolie chalk paint in graphite on the frame. I looked for Jolie metallics but they were too bright. The pewter gave a nice depth without going black and heavy. I used a chalk paint brush to spread the pewter, but tamped the brush of excess to get a nice coverage without heavy brush marks, but still getting consistent coverage. It’s Beautiful and I haven’t added the clear wax yet, but will. I’ve used the wax on other projects and it’s so much better than clear coat.

The small pot covered about 18’ of 2” wide moulding and there’s enough for a second coat, but I’m thinking the one coat is enough. I tried using the pewter without the base coat and straight onto wood but it didn’t have the depth and beautiful finish, so a proper...

Sungirl: This product goes on smooth and looks nice! I bought a small 2 oz. container to paint my decorative external garage door handles and hinges. Time will tell how long it lasts in the heat. So far it's a nice paint, equal in finish to using a can spray. If you don't want to spray, but you want a nice metallic finish resembling a spray this product is for you.

BULLSHIPPER: We have found this paint to have excellent coverage, durability, and fast drying properties.
We've actually used it for some highly visible gutter sections on the house. It transformed them into Copper gutters and the look real...not cheap. The paint when applied to a clean surface and allowed a day to cure is fantastic for maintaining adhesion and color. Our only complaint is the price. When available in box stores this sells from 29 to 35 for the 925ml jar. The Amazon price is too high and we only bought it because we were in immediate need.
4 Stars instead of 5 for the Price gouge. Otherwise very good Buy.

PsPs: Really good metallic accent . I got the gold mine and it is just like the name describes. It is not a bright yellow but a darker mustard color metallic. Really nice I ordered more. A little goes a long way, the tiny bottle will last me a while. But I'm only interested in accent/detail work nothing intensive. The clock's face trim was black and I did the bottom trim.

Sheena: I had changed all the door handles to brushed nickel but the hinges were still coloured brass, so I got this paint to coordinate the hinges with the handles. It was a perfect match and went on so easily. This small bottle was more than enough. Love this paint!

dmspippy: It's too bad that such itty bitty products get sent on their own. I think it's a waste of cardboard & plastic.

Nicholas: Good paint, used it to paint a room and am happy with the results. It's not the easiest paint to use,( probably better suited for smaller projects). But it did work and look's good.
