These batteries seem to take and hold a good strong charge, work great, but oddly are extremely difficult to remove from drill when time to recharge.

Exact replacement for my Ridgid drill. I had considered throwing out the drill when the original batteries died, but I hate to do that and I really liked the drill. So, I order the 2 pack of replacement batteries which were reasonably priced - much less that a similar new drill - and work great. Several folks commented that the batteries are a tight fit and that is somewhat true. I would rather have a snug fit than too loose. The catch that holds the battery in the drill is at the front edge of the drill and once you realize that, you can remove the battery fairly easily.
