Bobbi Tompkins: In the past I have purchased these batteries from a local retailer, and they are expensive. TinLusby: The thing about batteries is that if they are cheaper, but don't work, they are useless. I've tried knock off brands, but usually only a portion of them work and then, the ones that work don't last long. So, I didn't save any money and in this case, want dog collar batteries working for a reason! These batteries work, help keep the dogs safe, so for what seems like more money for just a few batteries, is not that much and well worth it.

Amy Hubner: UPDATE..I have found that my original 8year old collar is malfunctioning. I tested batteries with a voltmeter prior to return and they where not dead despite the flashing light indicator.
Both of the batteries only lasted a week. The expiration date (yes they have one) was well within its time. They should have been fine but where defective. I gues the price was too good to be true after all
