These are every bit as good as the filters supplied by the company that installed my heat pump, and certainly cheaper. The size is uncommon, at least as far as Lowes and Home Depot are concerned or I would buy there just to support local hardware businesses. Regardless, this product is indistinguishable to the naked eye from the OEM filter (probably made by the same manufacturer but I cannot be certain) that I substitute it for. And air quality seems just as good so I think it is doing an acceptable job.

I searched around at every local store and tried a couple filters online. None of those fit. Either way to tight or too loose.
This filter was the closest size and seems to fit perfectly in my unit. My unit isn’t an exact size to fit typical 20x20x4 filters but the size of Nordic pure slides in nicely. Definitely check actual dimensions for your own use.
Doesn’t hinder airflow. Catches quite a bit of particulates. After about 3 months it’s dirty enough to change but could probably run longer. I’ll end up resizing parts of the filter section to give a better overall seal.
I prefer to change more often than less because last owners changed the filter like once a year. Needless to say they were horrid looking, and the filters they used were too large.

I was hoping this filter will solver the ordour problem when the room is closed for long period of time due to cold weather. Guess what, I think it did a pretty good job there.
