Lonnie: These cables were fairly easy to install. I went on YouTube an watched how to install cables about three times by different people. I also have a nice collection of vise grip's which made it easier.

HobbyLearning: As a handyman with years of experience under my tool belt, I've come across my fair share of garage door repairs. Recently, I had the pleasure of using the Pair of 7' Garage Door Cable for Torsion Springs, and I must say, it's an absolute lifesaver!

From the moment I opened the package, I could tell these cables were built to last. The high-quality materials and impeccable craftsmanship were evident, leaving me with no doubt about their durability. Trust me when I say, these cables are a cut above the rest!

Mark Hughes: These work great! Little heavier than original but causes no issues. Just roll the door up to max and clamp off with vice-grips, unravel old cable off and wind new one on. Wrap towards to outside so loop end is on the inside by wall. Open up the loop a little by rounding it so it goes on the stud easier. Did mine in 10 minutes a side

Jake: I'm a do it yourself-er, and usually not afraid to try to fix anything. This one scared me a little as we have an extremely heavy garage door so the springs are under a huge amount of tension, especially when closed. Also, some Youtube vides suggested there was some tweaking of the spring position, etc. I decided to give it a try, and found that it works well without any tweaking.

Could not find these cables anywhere else, so grateful to find here. While I was waiting for these cables to arrive, I removed power from the garage door opener (pulled the plug) removed the defective cable, and then released tension on the non defective one so it could also be removed, and the garage could be closed. There are ways to do this by using vice grips. Youtube it. Be careful. Do this with the garage door completely open. Essentially you can turn the "shaft" that the pulleys are on to release tension. Make sure you vice grips the rails by the rollers so the garage door doesn't come crashing down when you remove the cable. Some doors are unbelievably heavy like ours.

Once you get the cables, wrap them back on with the garage door completely open. The hardest part for me was...
