screechpug: After my husband passed, I did not realize the wheelchair had to stay plugged up to retain charging. If the charger is left uncharged the batteries will die and will no longer charge. I ordered new batteries and couldn't be happier. I fixed the chair up for my cousin.

raregift: I was looking forward to having knee surgery and then foot surgery so I’m going to be laid up for quite a while starting in November. I purchased the two replacement batteries for the Hoveround in November and here it is in April and I have to almost constantly keep it on a charger for the little bit of use that I’m using it for in the house. I honestly didn’t need the chair after the first week after total right knee replacement, but now I’ve got a couple months without being able to put any weight at all on my left foot, and using crutches on my new knee sucks. The chair gets me around some but again the power is absolute crap. I really needed these batteries to last during this part of my recover but I am now using crutches a lot more than I had hoped.
