Michael Wysinger: I ordered these because the remote I was using (exactly like these) would barely work most times. I had to fidget around with it to get the buttons to work, and finally got sick of it.
I will say this remote works waaaay better. Too good, in fact... The buttons are very easy to bump, which causes me to set off the alarm on my truck frequently. That said, I'd rather that inconvenience than the way my old one worked (or didn't!). Good price, almost perfect product. Would recommend.

Joshua Shearer: Great OEM replacement, I have Ford F150 and the key & remote are made into 1, the unlock button was wore out making it difficult to unlock at times, Ford dealership priced new key & remote $300. Key has chip in it so ya can't buy 1 of the remotes with the key and just cut it. So I opted to go this route. Remote does exactly what I need it to, small size. programming was simple.

Justhavinfun55: These remotes are identical to the original. I thought it would be a piece of cake to get them up and running. Instructions included were useless. I had to go through 3 Google answers to find you had to leave the drivers door open, hit the unlock button on the door and the do the on/off ignition key cycle 8 times leaving it on at the 8th time before the door locks will cycle. Then hitting a button on each of the new remotes will pare them for use. After that it works great.

Amazon Customer: Pair of fobs paired and worked fine with Ford Freestyle, but both failed after about a year, even after changing battery.
First failed after a year. Then used the second one that died after only 2 weeks of use.

it was not hard but a little detailed. still i don't mind spending a few minutes to save hundreds on the factory remotes and the dealer activation.
