71Grande: It's a lot brighter than my single LED bulb circular tail light. The issues with the release lever is you have to move it in the correct position to remove the light for recharging. As far as the rubber "belt" tearing off, I haven't owned it long enough to see if it will fail prematurely. If it does I'll post an update. The car drivers here in Southern New Mexico have real problems sharing the road with bicycles. That's why I NEED a bright red tail light!

WadeWade: The main reason i bought this was to get a USB C light. It is Micro USB.
Build quality is poor, mount isn't great, the light isn't that bright and it looks very average.
There are plenty of better lights for less money on Amazon.

Creme de mentheCreme de menthe: I've had a Cateye Omni III for a couple of years and really like it as a rear light. But I find, as a motorist, that one light doesn't make a bike visible enough so I decided to go for a second one that I could attach to my helmet. The higher the number of reviews the more they tend to vary. This was true for every light I looked at. But the Blitzu reviews were generally good and the price was reasonable so I chose it. The model I received is the new one you see in the main product picture.
I have included photos to show the differences between the 2 lights. Firstly the Blitzu is not as bright as I was expecting - the Cateye is brighter as the pics show (Cateye is on the right in the first 2 photos and both lights are on full brightness). However the Blitzu is far brighter from the side - see 3rd and 4th photos, Cateye on the left. The Cateye is only really bright when you look straight at it, so if the light is pointing up or down, or gets jostled out of position on a rough road, the brightness can be greatly reduced. The Blitzu has 3 steady settings, low-med-high, and 3 flashing/strobe settings. Switching between steady and flashing on the Blitzu is really easy, just...
