I like a tool that works. No dislikes, really. And yeah, I screwed it onto my air compressor to exclude airborne schmoo from delicate machinery and muffle some of the noise.

cutlass71cutlass71: I bought a used California 8 gallon air compressor. I noticed it didn’t have an air filter. I don’t k ow if it was supposed to have one or not but I don’t like running compressors especially oilless compressors without a filter. One chunk of anything and the Teflon piston cup seal is toast.
Anyway it had 1/4” npt threads on the inlet so I ordered the 12.5mm. It fit right in. I did cut the internal tube down and drill out the threaded outlet as big as I could to let as much airflow as possible since 1/4” npt is a tiny size for an air filter. It worked great and cut down even more on noise of an already super quiet compressor. Can’t beat the price especially for 2 filter.
