2-Gallon Kook Glass Beverage Dispenser

Dflow: I keep my jar in my middle console in my car, which is really epic and convenient when you want water on the go. Only downside is the lid is not watertight sealed. So even when fully screwed on, as soon as the water hits the top of the jar, it leaks out down the sides of the jar and gets water everywhere. I had to put some Saran wrap over the hole before screwing the lid on to keep the water from pouring out. Which kind of works… but really, they should have made the lid actually seal it closed. 🤦‍♂️

Overall, I would still recommend this product, as long as the jar is stationary and not sloshing around, it shouldn’t be an issue. Happy hydrating! 😋💦

CMA: Product arrived intact, double boxed and securely padded. Glass is thinner than I expected but appears to be sturdy enough for the use intended. I had purchased a stainless steel tap to swap out, but the one that came installed on the bottle appears to be sturdy and doesn't leak so I will not replace it at this time. I won't be using the inner ice or fruit compartments, but they are certainly nice and generously sized. The lid is lightweight, but again I won't be using it. Good option for continuous Kombucha Brewing!

Kim D: It is very functional with the inserts for ice or infusing and it is sturdy. The container is attractive and glass which I prefer. The spout is very good unlike most of the fake steel looking plastic ones out there. My only regret is the container has to be put on something since the spout is so low (as it should be to be to get the most possible out of the dispenser). Otherwise it has to be put on the edge of the counter to fit a class and people can leak drinks on the floor. A pairing with a base would be good. It would have to be sturdy also since the glass container is heavy once the drink is put in.

C. RoemerC. Roemer: Update 10/26/20: I still mostly like this container for continuous brew kombucha, but the lid does rust. I recently had to put my brew in cold storage, so I used the metal lid that it came with, it started to rust.
I had been looking for a reasonably priced container for continuous brewing of kombucha and this fit the bill. The stainless steel spigot is very nice. I uninstalled it and cleaned everything, and then I reinstalled it and added some water to leak test. Once I confirmed the vessel didn't leak I filled it up with kombucha. I've been enjoying continuous brew ever since. The spigot has not plugged at all so far. I haven't really noticed much debris flowing through when taking kombucha out. The infuser insert is a nice touch for later use. This is a well priced option for anyone looking to continuous brew kombucha. I had to get creative with my current heating jacket as the vessel is square with rounded corners, and much bigger than my 1 gallon jars. I would recommend this.

Avery: I was using BPA free plastic containers for dispensing water and kind of gave up on finding a glass alternative as they just don't exist in any kind of large size. I spotted this dispenser and gave it a shot. It's a very nice piece. The spout is solid metal and feels really beefy. I filled this jar absolutely to the brim and left it for a week and it did not leak.... ps, don't ever hope the valve wide open with that much water in it... the water pressure was like a garden hose! I ended up mopping the floor, lol. I threw out the infuser as it's plastic and I'm not using it to make tea/etc. The only thing about this type of unit that makes it difficult for me to use is that I can't slide it over the side of the counter as much as a long plastic container to get water into, say a teapot or other large/wide container. Not really a fault of the product, just a quirk of having a tall round dispenser vs a longer shorter one. I'm adjusting to it ok though. I've only had it just over a week, but so far so good.
