Melody Curry: Did NOT use this for baking. I used this based on Pinterest suggestions of using it to keep weeds away. I have a brick 25' x 25' outdoor patio. For over 15 years I have sat down on the patio with a gardening tool and removed every single weed that has come up thru the bricks. It took weeks and then I started over again all summer long just to have an almost weed free patio. People on Pinterest said to use baking soda so I bought 1 bag.. then removed all the weeds in a section of patio and poured it on... watered it down lightly so it went into all the cracks. Waited a week and nothing grew back so I did the rest of the patio. This was in like April I started and since then I purchased 4 more bags of baking soda and did the whole patio with none left over. Yesterday (9/15) I noticed my first weeds coming back; that's 5 months... I'll take it!! GET THIS AND USE IT on your patio you wont' regret it. Worth the price of not spending your whole summer weeding just the patio!
