Happilyretired: I hate the look of a traditional dish drainer sitting on the counter next to the sink and don't have the space to stow it away when not in use. I really like this alternative. I store it (folded in half) under the sink and pull it out when I need it. It's perfect for glassware that you want to air-dry as it's absorbent and not so poofy that stemware may topple. It dries quickly.

Cautious Shopper: I was having trouble finding the exact size I needed, 18" by 12", to fit under my dish rack. This is the only decent one I could find in this size. The mat is good quality, but I am taking a star off for the limited color selection. Grey does not match my kitchen. Would be nice if they offered this in tan, red, and blue.

Colleen: I bought a stainless steel dish drying rack, but because of the high lip on our kitchen sink, I decided to put a drying mat under the dish rack instead of a drainage tray. This drying mat has been awesome. I've fogotten to wash it for weeks, and there is no sign of odor or discoloration. I do most of my dishes in the dishwasher, so it doesn't typically get soaked. When it does get wet, the water soaks in immediately. It seems to dry out by itself without any effort on my part. The size I purchased, 18x12, is good for a small dish rack. It might be too small if you have a lot of dishes to wash each day.
