dianagt: Ok, mine had the Celsius knob but I was expecting that and simply installed a converter app on my phone, because my brain lol
The griddle is amazing, IMHO. It's seasoning up nicely and this thing gets HOT. I gradually got it up to temp a little at the time and didn't trip any breakers so thank you guy who did that and posted about it, great advice. Had it sitting on my flat top stove and amazingly the surface of the stove stayed cool even when my infrared temp gun registered the plate over 600° and yes it got that hot. That took a while to cool back down I'll tell ya. But cast iron y'all, so no surprise there.
Anyway, I have zero regrets about this purchase (also it shipped *fast*). All I can say is the Chinese are serious about their food prep lol and I'm very much looking forward to learning how to really cook on this.

Pink Mustang Guitar: 1. (optional) The metal top edge is somewhat sharp. I took 120grit sandpaper to it and softened that so no hands would ever get cut.
2. Clean the surface with soap and water
3. Plug up outside and allow any noxious residue from manufacturing to burn and smoke off.
4. Season the cooking surface well with a high smoke point oil like grapeseed, canola or avocado. There are lots of vids on youtube to help with this. It will make the cooking surface non-stick and prevent rusting.

This is a commercial catering unit. It does take over ten minutes to heat up but then you can knock out your cooking quickly and effectively. My son and I made the best smash burger we had ever made on the first day. It is incredible what you get for the money when you compare it to brands marketed for home use. I get Waffle House short-order cook vibes! Would buy again!

Brian B.: i absolutely love this griddle. it gets hot enough to put a niceeeee sear on a ribeye and you can turn it down and make a omelet too. easy to clean.
NOTE. to use it properly turn it on and leave it alone for about 10mins it takes time to get to full heat *(it also takes a long time to cool down but that is a good thing, it keeps it from rapidly fluctuating heat like a normal stove does)

frisbee_ten: Not to beat a dead horse, but yes the temperature control is in Celsius even though the plug is for 110v AC which is very strange. No biggie, I just downloaded a conversion chart from the internet. I think the reason the cooking surface was coated in some sort of mineral oil was because the unit (the double boxing) had no plastic bag to keep out moisture and there was a chance of rusting. It took about 20 minutes and repeated dish soap wiping followed by wet towels to completely remove the oil. Would not recommend rinsing the unit with a sprayer.

Really excited about using it for burgers instead of my gas grill. Will keep it out back sealed in a 3 mil black trash bag between outdoor uses. Will save me a lot of $$ on propane and is much more versatile, especially when it comes to grilled peppers, onions, sliced chicken or steak, and fried rice.

mSIESTE: Seit dem Kauf des Plancha Grills, nutzen wir weder Holzkohle noch Gasgrill.
Es gelingt einfach alles sehr gut. Gemüse, Fleisch, Hackfleisch, Wurst, Bratkartoffeln, Burger und vieles mehr.
Die Grillfläche einbrennen geht sehr gut und einfach. Nachdem dies 2-3 mal getan wurde brennt nichts an und lässt sich super mit Spachteln grillen.

kevin: La construcción se nota que las soldaduras han estado hechas un poco a lo rápido y sin limpiar por detrás, quizas hayan sido robots.

Pesa bastante, el que me entregaron presenta un golpe en una esquina que no afecta al funcionamento pero si al pasar la espátula como que la desvía un poc

Otra astucia lei en comentarios que se queda toda negra y se quema, a mi no me ha ocurrido también es cierto que no subo a mas de 150/180c°.

La calidad del metal está presente, mientras menos limpies mejor no se te pegará la carné, limpieza se deben seguir unas pautas, tener un desengrasante profesional, tener el metal caliente y verter el desengrasante la grasa se disuelve y queda como nuevo, cualquier desengrasante no sirve.

A mejorar los acabados en tema de soldaduras y limpieza, pero por calidad precio correcto.

LiliLili: Pas top pour le nettoyage faut mettre de l eau pour vraiment dégraisser. Sinon le produit est top en soi . Mais il est déjà tâché c est dommage apres je sais pas si c'est normal

Daril: Veramente soddisfatto... Si scalda subito.. poi tiene temperatura anche qnd è spenta... Quindi anche un risparmio energetico.. si pulisce subito .. e il cibo esce cotto a puntino.. consiglio vivamente... Anche perché il prezzo è ottimo
