Cindy & Tom Ibert: More positive ON and OFF than other float switches. Not affected by ripples on the water surface of the sump. Easily fit down my 4 inch casing without removing the 1-1/4 discharge pipe. Teardrop shape float switches require I pull the pump to change a float switch.

Tim Mier: I have a 5 gallon bucket under my outdoor sink and the bucket is to heavy to move all the time so I set this switch up with a small pump to empty when water level gets near the top. Works for me

Ambergris: Installed as a float switch to fill a 500 gallon potable water tank. I was expecting the wiring to be 14 Guage, but it's just 16 Guage. I'm running a 1/2 hp 220v submersible pump and have doubts the 16 Guage wiring will hold up especially since the float switch says it's rated for 12 Amps, not 13 as the description states. It's working for now.

Guy M.: Looks like a substantial switch. Specs look good. 10' cable worked for me. I used it for a tank alarm should the water level drop the pump won't run dry and it sets off a light and buzzer.
