shaniashania: I sterilized everything over again because I didn’t trust the packaging. I did buy a numbing cream and the pain was 2/10 I do suggest having a friend help because the needle is supposed to go up not down so you can put the piercing in easier. Note the jewelry in the picture was bought separately I didn’t like how short the one that came with it was

Nancy Guillemette: Pour ma part ce fut très long. Je craignais le perçage avec l’aiguille mais ce fut l’étape la plus facile. Ensuite, j’ai dû enlever l’aiguille pour y faire passer le bijou comme mentionné dans les précédents commentaires. C’est plus douloureux et désagréable que la première étape. Je n’ai jamais réussi à faire repasser le bijou dans le bon sens. Il est à l’envers. Je laisser mon ventre tranquille et guérir et réessayer d’y mettre un autre bijou. J’ai dû essayer pendant 2 heures 🤦♀️ '

olivia: I am not going to lie, I would recommend going to an actual piercing shop if you can. But if you’re like me and living under their parents roof, then i think this kit is beginner friendly! Came with all the necessities and since the piercing is screwed inward, it lessened the risk of infection. the gauge of the needle and the piercing were both the same which was very unexpected. I lowkey started panicking, but don’t worry. For me, I took out the needle and tried shoving the piercing in (yes it sounds painful, but i felt almost nothing) and that did not work. then I tried unclamping the clamper but the blood started leaking out, so i just stuck it in and wiggled it around and in less than 10 seconds, i had it through. Really not that bad honestly, I almost passed out but not because of the pain but because of the thought of my stabbing myself with a needle. I have almost my whole ear pierced, and if you do it slow and with numbing cream, it hurts less than getting your 3rd piercing done. after putting the piercing in, it did NOT bleed! the redness went away the morning after and i gave it a saline bath. I’m going to sound 5 years old, but i used the claire’s rapid solution...
